Hi all, I want to replace my nasty old front sway bar with a new one but am not sure how to remove it without having to unbolt/drop the front ends of the torsion bars. With the front wheels removed is it possible to pull the sway bar through from one side to the other? Or will I have to drop one or both torsion bars?

After undoing the 4 "ends" of the sway bar, it just comes down. There is no need to pull it out at one end/side.

I'm not sure what you mean. The ends are connected to the sway bar links, and there are two rubber bushings that have to come off, but with all that disconnected the front sway bar still stis on top of the two torsion bars. So I'm not sure I understand how it can "come down", unless I'm not understanding something. It seems to me that I'd have to try and pull the sway bar out to one side or the other if I didn't want to unbolt the torsion bars.

Yes, you must be right, forgot about the position of the TBs. But I can't remember there being a problem to remove it.
