HZJ71 diagnostic

Hi all,
does anyone know which diagnostic tool to use for a 2008 HZJ71 4.2D ?
after off-roading with lots of water and mud, the engine light suddenly came on, even though the engine runs very well.....

Hi Giacomo,
Did you spray the electrical connectors with contact spray?
You might have water penetration in the loom which can give all sorts of gremlins.

thank you for answer, I have already sprayed the connector on the ECU but to no avail.....

Hi,
I also made the diagnosis with the Teachstream but for me it is unable to communicate with the control unit, as it even sees ABS/VSC/TRC and SRS Aibag ECU that the car does not have.....
I really don't know which tool to use

Hi Giacomo, I saw your question on Buschtaxi.net as well, I've answered you there more extensively.
In short: please establish that the unit involved isn't just an EGR management unit.
