I had one problem with my FJ62.
The check engine light came on.
When I start the engine after a short time, it is off, but after 10 minutes of driving, the light comes on again.
Can you tell which parts of the car show problems?
I would like to take it to a auto repair shop, but I'm wondering if they can fix it with regard to a slightly older car like mine?
I would very much like to know if there is anything I can think of.

Thanks

I haven't seen much of these but if you want a simple DIY analysis I would say check the oil, have the pressure checked, maybe check the sensors on the side of the engine. I know sometimes the petrol ones work their way loose and sometimes can be faulty. I hope this helps.

If you have a pre odb landcruiser you can use a bent paper clip in the data port to get the check engine codes.Follow these instructions then you can google the code
