hzj75 gear box options

hi guys, i have a 93 hzj75. 405000 ks on it. everything is in good nick just the syncro in third is pretty rooted. whats my best option to fix it as i also have a 85 hj60 wrecking but has a great gearbox and wondering wether i could put that into the 75 easily enough ?

You would have to swap the input shaft because the splines are different (21 vs 11)which means a complete dismantle. The only real way to fix the H55F in your 75 series is to get rebuild kit with new bearings gaskets and seals.I think the synchroes come with the kit.
I think the bearings get damaged removing them in the dismantle ,so all that gets replaced as well.
