Ive just bought a 2003 model Amazon VX, it has the touch screen DVD that controls climate control etc, so the screen has to stay.
Under the screen is a tape player - Yes a cassette player !! has anyone changed the tape deck to something different ?

The sat nav screen has the 6 disc autochanger for CDs ( not mp3s)

I'm hoping to try and get a Ipod line input somehow ? or just completely disconnect the speakers and add a amp with line in ?

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated

Brian

I've got the same - the cheapest way is to use one of these cassette adapter leads:

The sound quality is partly down to the state of your heads in the cassette player though.
Another alternative is a sat nav with wireless connection ie one that transmits through FM & you tune your radio into it - I have seen an Ipod adapter that does that as well:

The quality isn't fantastic on either - more a cheap & cheerful solution!

cheers

Hi all, newbie to this forum, I just bought a 2010 LC3, and need to put a decent sat nav in it, question is, would an lc 5 factory one fit without majour rewiring, or does anyone know of a good quality one from ebay that will work with the Bluetooth?
Also, is it a canbus system, as I would also like to fit HID lights bi xenon to it.
thanks
All the best
Simon
