They seem to get more newcomers with problems 'over there', I do what I can to help (on both sites) but members here seem to need less hand-holding.
I have also been told-off. however I openly point people to Karl's site when they need parts and Simon hasn't complained. I guess that's a genuine service to his members so its all right.
Its all a bit petty and I try to stay above silly in-fighting.
Graham was around when Simon's methods were uncovered, most people left and never went back after they found out. I have also been there once over the last year and I was surprised at how much people need to be helped at every stage so just gave up. Nothing wrong with being an active member on there as well as here.
The reason Simon gets the newcomers, is because he has links on review sites.
I can't remember which one I last looked at, but it said some thing along the lines " ******* is a good site to start to know about Land Cruisers"
So I guess when the new buyer, or perspective new buyer has got his Land Cruiser, he follows the link to Simon.
Then the search some more, and find the proper site for information, like here.

Hi Ben, he got just 2 replies, he posted again, to make it a third reply, but any way.
