Kdss code c1831

Hello guys.

Not sure what this code relates to but after a scan came up with c1831.
I no its the suspension system on the invincible model but what is the actual fault.

Reading some posts on the net saying it's water ingress in the hydraulic pump.
Most of them quotes relate to a toyota bulletin.

My scan says it's a c1831( accumulator solenoid (upside) malfunction).
No idea what that means hence why I'm on here asking you guys.

My question is is this a toyota visit or can a garage or DIY home job solve my problem.

Next question with out the kdss system in out of action does the crawl control still work.
It seems the rear ride control as in (sport,normal,comfort mode still seem to work but that may be my imagination.
I no people remove this system and opt for a less problematic option but I paid a lot for quality so intend to get it fixed.

A little bit of useful info here. I think the accumulator will be a pressure reservoir used to supply each corner.

Hello guys .
I have done my kdss code c1831 fix following instructions from the link I was sent.
After going over the pictures in the link my Electric box looks identical to were the picture shows.
Seems a common fault to me and expensive if it wasn't for you guys giving information.
So after removing the box and very tedious soldering I replaced only to find the light still on the dash.
Hoping it will reset itself after a few trips it's hasn't.
I will remove it again this weekend (weather permitting).

My question is if I want the system fully working again with a new pump we're do I go to get it fitted and tested as I believe it's a delicate job.
I'm in Liverpool but will travel of needs must.

2nd question can I turn the kdss light off the dash and how.
If it's to expensive and my fix doesn't work I have found matching parts on the Web.
Just looking at my options and wondering whyi buy a car with problems that are a puzzle to fix.
