Well that is an option. I have emailed not just the one for braking if not also most of those for sale. With not luck whatsoever. Still looking...
i never thought it will be so difficult to get one, I think the last resource is to start contact the jap stores.
Any suggestion?

I just did a quick ebay search for "landcruiser breaking" and found 4 sellers advertising as breaking 70's. Have you contacted them all?

If Toyota had fitted to them to LandCruisers destined for the Australian market I would happily source one and send it to you.

But even my bosses 79 series ute, which is a top spec model with electric windows, aerial, central locking, diff locks and 24valve engine didn't get a center console!

Well I guess toyota realised that being a work truck that console will be smashed frequently. Hence of not having it in the after models.
i have decided to remove it. Since I was a kind of tired to see it smashed. And it does not look too bad!
