I just failed to purchase the correct Hayman Reese X bar towbar. having explained to the supplier "exactly" the vehicle type, I still got the wrong towbar. A call to Hayman Resse confirms, they do NOT make a bar for the LC70, seems 12 months is not long enough for Rand D. Non of the bolts screw into the chassis, different thread size/type to 79 series, it seems ! Am I the only one to have experienced the confusion of suppliers about what the LC70 is ?

LC70 tells me its a 70 series Landcruiser and nothing else , here's a few choices and I'm sure theres more .
Quick google suggests you have an LC79 GXL and thats still not specific enough because we don't know what engine .
