Looking to Buy a Land Cruiser 100 Series 2003+ Automatic! Anyone selling!!

Anyone can give me an opinion?? This one is a 2002/2003 mix.. its registered as 2002 but the dash has the silver plastic with the Santa in it. Advertised for 13k 172k miles. The underneath looks like its covered with grease... it's not clear to me! I cant go all the way to birmingham just to look.. dealer has another silver one for 9k but less attractive. If it was me looking, Id walk away from that one for 13 grand.... Like Andy said in a previous post.... "Dont buy work"..... Also always be Dubious of dealers who hide the reg at point of sale..... The underside pics look like someone has just randomly gone Nut's with some black rattle paint.... Unless you can go and view, I wouldnt bother... Just my opinion Mate

@Higgy thank you, I was quite excited about it, but when I looked at the bottom I wasnt sure anymore. It seems a lot of it is covered in grease.. i asked the dealer to send me photos, they mistakenly sent me the reg number, after looking at the mot history I was thinking I'm in need of a second opinion...thank you!

With that number of advisories, you have to question the maintenance!

I love it on the MOT report that say's 'repair if necessary'.......... Yeh! i would say it was 'Necessary'....

Hello @Mr.Smiles - just came across your post.

I am putting up on the market (with a heavy heart!) my 120 series Toyota Landcruiser 3.0 D-4D LC5, 2004 model, diesel. Registration number YE04ACM (pictured in my DP), so you can have a look at its MOT history, etc.

Its done less than 72000 miles which is great given its age. Drives brilliantly. Have recently replaced the rear air suspension kit as the original one had developed air leaks. Underside is a little rusty, I had arranged to fix it a couple of years ago with the necessary repairs and topped it up with anti-rust paint.

Only selling on account of ULEZ restrictions, otherwise this would have been my last car!

Let me know if you'd like to have a chat about it. I haven't put it up on AutoTrader yet, but will be doing so imminently.

I'm looking to buy a landcruiser 100 series, automatic. I prefer 2003, and I want wish for it to be below the 200k mark in terms of mileage.
I am based in Kent, Medway, I am happy to travel to pick it up, however, I prefer if it's closer! I am no expert in 4x4's, nor am I a mechanic or good at doing things on my own.
I am not looking to go off roading, I wish to use it locally, I might go on a long trip to Europe but generally speaking, it will be used on weekends only..
I understand that diesel engines are stronger and better at consumption, however, not sure why everyone is after diesel, and why Petrol ones, even LPG converted are still cheaper than Diesel ones. Anyhow, I'd appreciate the advise in that respect, however, I'm open to petrol/LPG as they should be economical.
I prefer the Grey, Silver and Black ones, and yes I prefer leather seats and sunroof, but I'm open to look at others. (The misses hates the maroon and green ones) ‍ I personally dont have an issue, but happy wife happy life! ‍

Save me from drivig 4h to Mirfield and dealing with the Cruiser King! Please

I'm considering selling mine - 2004, 160k miles. I have owned for 9 years (10 in January next year!) and maintained it well, new Geolanders all round this year, new Australian Brake Co T3 discs and pads, new front calipers, new rear discs and pads last year (Milners) undersealed in 2020, Tidy underneath, rear tailgates both fine.

Very straight car, I know what it needs
I do about 4k a year in it - I'm on the fence about going to a 200 series (and have been debating that for about 2 years!) I have a refurb plan including some work on the rear arch, a windscreen and other bits but nothing serious. And I have a rear lock actuator on the way.

@eatapeach finished reading your post and then i had to look back and see if ive missed where you mention the asking price! Why aren't you posting photos? Diesel or Petrol.. Come on dude, that's not how you advertise your landcruiser!! the worst that can happen is that I say no thank you its not the one, or out of my league, not within my budget, or, take my money! However, we here love to see landcruisers regardless... at least you'll get some compliments!

Finally got my LC100 guys! Over the moon right now! Still trying to get used to driving it, and learn all the stuff in there.. but hay ho... been looking for long..
The owner threw in 4 brand new off road tires (federal couragia tires m/t lt275/65r 18) which was generous of him, however, i dont have the space to store them, if someone wants them, please make an offer..
