Hello everyone.
I'm new here.
Mikky from the Netherlands with a Land Cruiser 90 series from 1996
I have a question. Since yesterday I have been having a problem with my low beam lights turning on themselves. (only the front) sometimes they go out on their own. If that is not the case, I must first turn the lighting switch all the way on and then turn it off again. only then do the lights go out again.
What I have also noticed is that when my lights are off. and I flash 1x with the high beam, the low beams remain on (again only the front) I checked the wiring as far as possible. light switch removed and opened as far as possible and checked. nothing strange to see either. relay changed. changed lamps. relay/fuse box dismantled to assess the inside. Unfortunately, no success so far.
It's really just about the front low beam headlights. even the instrument lighting remains off.
My big question: is there anyone who has also experienced this and could perhaps help me?
Thank you very much and have a Happy New year in advance!
