I wonder what the data protection act says about that? Think I'll go read up on it and see if I can find any precedents. Recent case law would be nice, too.

I was going to ask him if he minded me putting up a post over there asking what the users thought of this policy... but he would just think I am trying to stir things so I didn't bother.
