Hi I’m from near Marlborough in Wiltshire UK
I’m fairly new to your club and I have my first Toyota and it’s the Colarado VX 3 litre TD Intercooler in Gold Colour with a leather interior an 8 seats and it’s 2002.
It starts runs really well after 122k.
The only things wrong with it are that I need another bonnet as it rusted right through on the n/s front and the back axle is really is really rusty and it looks as though someone backed it into the sea. Luckily the chassis and underbody are fine as its been undersealed before the dip in the sea and if anyone can help these items I most grateful.
Happy Cruising.

Hi Bomber, welcome, if you are new to the 90 series, have a read about lower ball joints... they are one key thing to take care of... and don't get the ones from Milner offroad.
rust on the rear end is always an issue, good to take care of it before winter and grit spreading too. personally I wirebrushed -a lot- and used a lanolin based product form BuzzWeld, similar to lanoguard but cheaper and better... it soaks well into any existing rust, it's soft and it incapsulates rust well rather then sealing over and allowing it to creep. treat the inside of the chassis too and check the rear axle turret drains are free.
for the bonnet I would look at breakers, there are a few on ebay. odd for the bonnet to rust though?
enjoy the LC!

Thanks for the information, a great help .
As for the bonnet I think it may have started with a stone chip and not noticed hence the crevice that’s there now. I’ve looked on eBay and one guy wanted £400 so the rust stay there! I’ve got most of the rust out and treated with Dinitrol but the all corner structure has gone otherwise I would have welded a new piece in slowly spot by spot so as not to put to mulch heat into the bonnet but alas to bad for that.
Thanks again.
