Good day all,
Few weeks ago the muffler on my 2011 Land Cruiser 76series V8 developed a rattling noise on rough corrugated road.
Yesterday i chopped it open to find a lot of charcoal looking pieces inside which have obviously been moving around. Never seen anything like it which led me to believe it might be some kind of insulation material? But can someone please clarify, any of you seen this before?
FYI This car has no DPF.
Also, I feel the muffler has been running slightly hotter than usual too. Not sure if this is serious or not?!
