Oil

Worth enquiring at Agricultural suppliers or plant suppliers.....
JCB do a 5w40 engine oil that's OK for their DPF's and EGR systems..... it's called "cold climate 5W40 "
10W40 is common in many tractors that have DPF's.....
I was looking only for C2 specs so couldn’t find other viscosities. As per the image, if I go C5/6 or C1 I might find 5W40.

Do you guys buy 200-litre barrels? I’ve moved up to buying 20-litre cans now, but I’m thinking of getting a barrel once I’m back at my own place.

For my private use no..... my theory is it would take a couple of years before I used it even at 3 or 4 K miles oil change intervals on the 80..... during that time the oil in the metal barrel will have become contaminated by the condensation that would build up on the inside of the drum even stored in an insulated but non heated building .
Work wise yes I buy 200 litre drums but it's normally for a specific job or service.... most common tractor engines take around 20 litres of engine oil.... but the transmission is often 90 litres or more and the same oil is also in the front axle and hubs so around 120 litres of trans oil for a service .....200 litres of trans oil soon gets used

Same as you Raj, 20 litre drums, cheap as chips.
