Lazy question having not bothered to research it....the payload of the 80 is 820 kg iirc..... 3500kg - 2680. Wow, I have just answered my own question I think

Is that with or without a full tank of fuel?

Right- off with the seat covers

I hate correcting myself but...

Kerb is 2250 MT 2280 AT....data varies

Some say 640kg and some 890kg on standard suspension...

How many feathers can it hold and still be road legal

what kind of bird!

Most 80s (for overlanding) are way overweight (especially USA and some in Aussieland) but not an "issue" unless doing serious offroading. Better if can be under the limit and lighter is better
I'm planning a diet once I do a chop and convert to poptop cabin style (aka Michael Clark)

I think this lot tour in an 80 with their pet St Bernard so ....................
