Possible paper towel left in intake [1HD-FTE]

Can’t imagine it doing much harm to the engine really, but it might leave stray fibers and screw up some sensors and what not...

I once cleaned out the EGR sludge in the intake but left the manifold in place. I just blew out the dry sooth using compressed air. Result ? Engine won't start anymore due to lack of compression. You can hear it cranking really fast but not starting. Apparently small sooth particles get trapped in the intake valves. In this case insisting solves the problem. This is just to say that even a small piece of debris is likely to create a major issue.
