I don't really think that it IS sorted. It drives fine but that is not what I call sorted. There are rules on props and this breaks every one. That aggravates me. I really wanted it to be right in every aspect but it looks like I shall have to just grind my teeth quietly. The flange angles and UJ angles and the spline engagement make no sense at all. Maybe in some sort of chaos way, all of that cancels itself out. Who the hell knows.
But hey. Who gives a shit. I'll settle for smooth. Going to the overland gathering next weekend so a good motorway run will be the final test.

Great to hear it's sorted Chris, my front prop front UJ is about to let go, so I'm holding my breath till Tuesday when it goes in for repair.

Look what Mr Patriot delivered this morning. Looks lovely. Shame it's all wrong! They've not got my design right and it was damaged in transit. Grr. Ahh well, on with the assembly. Very nicely made and finished.

it's a 2.5 m rack. The boards are 2.5 meters long. Err but the frame is 2.8 meters!!!! WTF? 2 sides and 2 ends. Bolt together. I can't get that wrong!

Errm aren't' they supposed to go the other way up?
Yes but some dumb-ass at GSE couldn't read and put the brackets on the wrong ends and mixed up the left and right too. Awesome job. They just fit and the tailgate flies up.
Had a call from Patriot.
They are coming out on Sunday to put all of this right and if they think the powder coating isn't right they are going to take it all way and do it again. New guy in the packing dept has mixed up two different racks.

Oh I did get the tracking done today. It was still in the green but at the very limits of toe in. I had them wind it in to the other edge of the spec and it's certainly less wandery. Camber is slightly out too but that is due to the huge tyres and them being very flat on the ground. You can't really run on an edge on something that size. It's always been like that. As long as I keep an eye on swivel bearings etc it should be fine.
