Hello everyone

What sort of job is it to replace the radiator? 90 series short wheel base 3.0 d4d

gave it a service and timing belt kit earlier and noticed the rad could do with changing. Is it a fairly easy one on these? Room to slide it out the top or is it bumper removal?

Thanks

It did look that way to be fair but thought I’d ask incase there was snag I’d missed. Cheers

Remove the cooling fan and fan shroud to give some clearance.

You will probably find a wad of rubbish trapped between the engine rad and the air-con rad. Its worth removing the engine rad periodically in order to maintain good airflow.

Bob.

it's an easy job, slips upwards no problem, I can't remember but I think it was bumper off to reach the bottom two bolts that hold the rad, may be able to reach them through the bumper though
