Really?

Unfortunately they're becoming hard to find in good condition, but yea the price is a little crazy.. you got to really want it, and have space to store it.. its not an everyday car at this point

I wonder how much they bought that in for. Low mileage it may be but a pre facelift model with the older 12v motor, cloth seats, no roof bars etc. Ambitious doesn't cover it!

Yep best colour IMO. If it's as good as is described and £5-10K less than equivalent diesel then it makes sense to spend the difference on the difference of petrol consumption to diesel consumption. One advantage of the petrol is that it comes with the later dash with the auto box unlike the UK 24V diesels which were all manual. 24V diesel auto's can be found in JDM spec trim levels but they are rare ( but good).

Of course the petrol is also a very smooth and quieter engine. Fuel costs aside I would choose the petrol.

I was looking for a petrol 80 and this has been up for a very long time (over a year?). It was with a dealer originally for £12k and went for £8k. I never went to look at it as got some photos of underneath and it looked rotten. It does look like it’s been sorted now so if done properly could be very good.

This white one caught my eye this week. Must look great with the recent paint job and sounds like it’s had lots done to it by the owner. Again this was up for £25k in Dec ‘23 so not sure they ever sell at these prices.

These ones seem to be asking a lot:

I do love the two tone colour scheme on this though!

It does look very tidy and original, who ever gets it will be happy I'm sure.

I like the charge cooler set up, nicely made from back in the day.

MOT history doesn't read like it was cherished or enthusiastically maintained or owned.

If I was an interested party I'd be sceptical to it's originality.

LandCruisers do seem to make strong money on C+C from my observations.

Yes true, few of the fails are things you'd hope would have been picked up before MOT time, rather than relying on it to pick up on what's wrong.

Let a young fella drive mine half a mile last week and less than a week later he trailered his Sahara edition 1997 amazon 80 completely standard with less the 150k on the clock from London to the Isle of Man 20 grand poorer !

£21,500 ? wow. this recently sold on eBay though for a lot less. I just sold my 67k miles one for a nearly £30k

Brilliant, at this rate the "Ford tax" will soon be an "80" tax.
I was wondering if that one of yours would get much interest at the price. Apparently so, so well done you.
