Rebuilding 1HZ engine for 75 Series work Ute

Hey guys,
My HZ needs the head replaced and I have always wanted to rebuild the engine and kind of start from scratch. It has 430,000 k’s on it. It was passed down to me and has a lot of sentimental value. My question is what are the best parts to put in it in terms of pure reliability? I’m willing to put in extra money if it means quality parts that will last a long time.

Personally the best parts are Toyota standard parts. Particularly in an engine.
The Aussie Mines have driven a big demand for improved consumable parts such as brakes, oil seals etc but they don’t offer many engine parts so that suggests that standard Toyota engine parts have held up well enough
