Rust Proofing fing Engine bay

Will it dry black over chassis paint ?

You would use it under the chassis paint. I've used it on a few things ,as an experiment i
I applied it to one of the trucks sumps which was showing signs of rust. The consensus is that after a year the rust had come back through but it might have been a bit of a hostile environment to use it on its own. I'll prepare it and use it again this time painting over it and see how it fares.

But the whole chassis is not rusty is what i meant , I just painted everything with it for a quick fix before mot and yesterdays effort still shows lots of white .
