Screen wash concentrate

Halfords have got BOGOF on winter screen wash concentrate. So if you mix it with water as it recommends you get 5L summer grade -4*c for £1.25p. I bought 6 x 5L but didn't realise until I got home that I'd saved £22-50p.

top tip from my mechanic mate.

In the winter most people use too strong a concentration. the screen wash then crystallizes on the jets (can do even with the correct mixture) so in the spring run a couple of tanks worth of plain water to help clean the nozzles through. when you can't smell the wash anymore then it's probably clean enough!
