They are exactly the same part as on the hilux surf (probably other hiluxs of same age) and im sure rav4`s are the same but haven't plugged one in before, loads of these available for cheaper.

Its amazing how many small parts Toyota crossed over on models, noticed the same for mirror switched and headlight level ect.

That's interesting. I new some parts were generic to the Toyota range but I thought the switch panel was unique. I replaced a faulty TVSS alarm siren on my 80 with a unit from an Avensis of the same year.

RAV4 the older ones, also have a difflock switch which might fit in an 80
