Should i change the freewheel if i want to change my clutch,if i really do have to,isnt there any cheap way to make it work?I dont know much about these tricks since im a 19 yr old with a car project going on and im trying my best to learn from y'all.

Unless the flywheel is very obviously damaged just fit your clutch and it will be fine .

You mean like it being purple and f up no? well i ve been running with a slipping clutch for a year no since it starts slipping fourth gear where my tires wanna take me into a tree..

If old clutch still works then a new one will work better . Flywheel should have a smooth surface but even if its scored your new clutch will just wear to match it .

Shortens the life expectancy of the new clutch some but you still get years out of it .

I need a new clutch in my 60, my mechanic has recommended giving the flywheel a light skim just to make sure it's a good surface. In Harare that'll only cost me $20 and if dropped in first thing I'll get it back before lunch so seems like a no brainer.

Well i have to go 200kms to get my flywheel machined, seen on youtube some dudes skimming it with grit but i dont know how even the surface is going to be...but i dont really think >1mm of difference in surface would ravage my clutch
