IMG_1503.jpgAs said it has Memory maps on it and comes with the GPS dongle thing and is ready to go. Paul had uprated the specrs lap 1.jpg on it before i got it.

How much RAM does it have? Also would be useful to know the following:

Native screen resolution
CPU model
Hard drive capacity
Current battery life
Multi-touch touchpad or not

EEEERRRRRRRRMMMMMMM

Full uk maps 1-25k, thats the easy part.

From memory.

Atom 1.6 cpu (I think) most of them are.
Hard drive is at least 160 gig, but could be a 250 gig.
At least 1 gig ram, but I think it was up graded to 2 gig.
I can not remember the screen rez, but it was a good one.
Yes muti touch pad (I think).
Carnt help on battery life, but was good when it left me.

Thanks very much Paul.

I think you did say 2 gig whatever that means:lol:

Battery life i wouldnt know as plugged in when in the truck. I know the last time it was used i had it on fo a while without it plugged in and was ok. I could test it for Battery if people want me to.

Good little unit this as an entry into a carpooter setup IMHO :)

does this have any other mapping software on it other then memory map. ie can you or does it have some kind of tomtom type software?
is very tempting.

I've used PC Navigator on the carpooter that I inherited with Oiley Stu - quite Garmin in its operation & quite good too...

That said, when we toured France last summer, I had the carpooter running with the maps & my Garmin doing the navigating...

Hi Stu.
if I'm honest mate I have no idea. It used to be Paul's on here if he could help. Not up on technology to be honest.

thanks
