This morning I woke up to snow, and this big fella... ;)

Here to collect the truck.

They quickly put together a very decent set of ramps.

And then in it went...

This is a 20ft container, so we also had space to send about 200cu.ft of gear for the trip around Australia. I was a bit worried that there might not be enough room for everything that we wanted to send in this shipment, but they agreed to tuck the 3 extra wheels under the truck, before putting up the partitioning. In the end there was actually a bit of extra space at the top, but I have no idea how we would have got anything up that high...

Then when everything was loaded, and the container sealed with the customs seal... I spotted the box with my new winch in the garage. All my pleas were met with "sorry, it is already sealed". Well not all... come hell or high water, the winch was going in that container, and I was prepared to cut the seal with whatever came to hand. funny how quickly they found a bolt cutter when I came up with a few creative ideas on how to open it. Thank goodness though, because I don't think any of my ideas would have worked on this seal:

That is a solid bar hidden in a plastic blue coat.

There's a tear in my eye...

Bravo and Bon voyage...
