Hi Felix - just attached 2 pictures to my original post :)

She had a few upgrades but for the most part is pretty much stock! Busy looking for a roof rack and tent assembly...so much choice, so taking my time to be sure I get the the right setup.

So clean and shiny!
Yes the options are very varied. Worth looking at some different set ups in person to see what style is preferrable to you.

Felix, I've been reading your thread - Project LC80 - really enjoyed reading through it and seeing what youve done. I think I may do the same (if I can find the time).
You've done some great work to your LC so far!

One thing that cuaght my eye was the modified fuel pin. How did that work out for you? Do you recommend swapping the standard pin out for the modified pin? Where did you purchase the modified pin from or did you do it yourslef?
The previous owner of my LC had one ordred from Australia which has now arrived at the workshop. Not sure if I should install or not? Any feedback on performance post pin replacement would be appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words.
I did have the pin fitted for a while and the truck had great power. But come not time it was too smoky for the test. This could be due to how it was set up, Ovetland fitted and tuned it for me. Currently it's got a standard pin and the boost and fuelling upped a bit.

From talking to @Andy the best way forward is fitting one of the GTurbos turbos and having the pump rebuilt and set up by Diesel Bob. I think he modifies the pin himself.

I do beleive its possible to set the engine up correctly with the modified pin, it's just finding the right person who really knows what they are doing.
