I have a Waeco fridge/freezer the temp reading seems to be playing up, ie the display isn't showing the correct temp. I had a CF18 no problems whatsoever, i upgraded to a CF35, used it on a trip to the Alps with no problems, i have left it in the truck for a while switched off and now i get funny readings.

Can the electronics be reset?

Has it switched units i.e. showing you Fahrenheit when you're expecting centigrade?

In what way are the readings funny? I don't remember there being a reset function beyond disconnecting the power.

Out of gas or gas low? That might cause it ?

No gas, the cool freeze (CF models) are 12/240V only.

Let me guess - the Fridge is left in the truck?

With the winter setting in the temperature in the truck drops to below zero.

That poor little LCD display needs a bit of warmth to make the liquid crystals move within otherwise it will give you a lot of gibberish.

Take the box indoors - let it climatise again and then switch on.

If this doesn't work call the manufacturer!

Best of Luck

Thanks for all the advice, now have the fridge indoors, i am using it as a second freezer over Christmas, it now seems that the damp and cold must have affected it. Seems to have settled down now at -15/16.
