Cost more than 5 times what the seal itself does from mrT :icon-eek:

Is it worth it ? is there an alternative product ?

What are you using it for Shayne?

Transfer box to front propshaft has sprung a leak , i will pay it if i must but can't help thinking its just glorified grease and the price tag results from the Toyota logo ?

It's Form in Place Gasket I think. I can't see the full part number on your tube. I used this a couple of years ago when I did the seal for the xfer box to prop on my 120. Which is no longer leaking.

You do read of people swearing by the Toyo stuff mind you.

Thanks Rob if its a sealant rather than a lubricant that's good enough to justify a few quid more for genuine Toyota stuff for longevity

Looks like the same FIPG I asked for at the T dealer. They told me it was too silly expensive - "rather go to the car accessories' shop next door and get it for 1/8 of the cost". There are lots of good alternatives.
