Winch query.

Hi all,

Been offered a brand new and unused Superwinch EP9000 winch, with wire and remote etc.

Wants £250.00

Downside is its 24v.

It looks such a bargain I'm inclined to buy it 'just in case'......

Arent some of the later 80's 24volt (I know 24v means valves, dont throw stuff at me...).

Pete you can just change the motor and solenoids. Thats a really good price.
80 are a 24v start but dont have 24v for a winch as it only in short bursts.

Had a look on t'web but it makes it a bit pricey, at least £150 for the motor.

If anyone has a 24v motor and wants a brand new winch I can post details.

How much is a brand new ep9000? Loads more then that. Buy it and wait for a motor to pop up.

or sell it on fleabay and put the profit towards a 12v model!
