Hi All
I need to pick some brains as I seem to be stumped. I had the windscreen of my 4.5 petrol/lpg removed so that some rust above the A pillar could be cut out and made good, when I got the truck back there was an additional strip of rubber between the original rubber and the scuttle at the bottom of the screen. According to a friendly windscreen fellah there should be a metallic bead directly under the screen and underneath the original rubber which is not visible when all is in place. The local Toyota dealer parts dept does not seem entirely sure and neither does the garage that is supposed to be putting things right.
Does anyone out there have any first hand knowledge of if this part actually exists and if so what is the bl**dy thing called. Any and all pointers gratefully accepted.
By the way I am another refugee from the other site run by simple simon.
I had a new aircon condenser and compressor fitted last year, the bill hurt but I'm certainly glad of it now.
