This started happening today. The roads and parking lots are mostly snow and ice covered, and it didn't go above 5 degrees Fahrenheit today (that's -15 Celsius). When I turn my steering wheel fully to the right or left on my 2000 LC, and move at any speed, my car starts to stutter and shake from side to side quite noticeably. This happens both in drive and in reverse. I have noticed that there is occasionally very obvious sliding of the front wheels when they are fully turned and on ice, but this is unusually strong shaking, and happens not just on ice. This happens only when the wheel is significantly turned. I have brand new tires that were rotated, balanced and aligned when I bought them a few months ago. Has anyone experienced this type of problem? Any idea what it could be? I see no visible obstructions to the wheels. Thanks!
