I'm in the process of getting the bearings, seals etc together to do a front axle rebuild, both cause I want to an because I get the feeling the previous owner didn't overdo the maintenance.
There is a fair bit of bearing play so I'm going to replace all when I am in there.
However the CVs seem OK. So I was just going to repack them. Only thing is, can I tell if they are crappy aftermarket ones by just looking at them, because if they are I was going to upgrade to the bigger post 94 type and go all OEM?????
