Waiting for a quote for original for the brake set,
Service I am not sure, last main one was on 138k, so wanted to check what's the next one due. I can't find a 150k milage service slot in the book
HI Guys,
Apologies, long time no post, but nothing major to report from the last MOT, but I know the Brake Discs and Pads for all 4 are due.
Also last major service I did (last main service post) was at 138K (ish).
Simon (Steveneagell Toyota) sorted me out with 90% of the full service order...
Thanks guys for all the advice, at the garage, they check all of the bits (rack, joints). Ruled out the bits like the PS fluid and the rack. But found a caliper that was sticking siezing on the steering wheel shaft.
Chaps took it off checked and cleaned and regeased it all and put it back...
Checked the fluid, this morning and looks full. I booked it in with the garage just incase its something else. Still drives fine and no issuses elsewhere apart from the steerring wheel needing a extra amount of work.
thanks guys,
I got a feeling it might be the joints since the garage guy mentioned it will need doing soon, I will check the power steering fluid in the morning.
HI Guys
Happy new year to you all.
The other day the wife drove the LC on the motorway and said the steering wheel was very stiff and difficult to move the car left and right.
It did do it, but with a little effort.
I checked and it seems turning the wheel right and left it was very stiff...
Thanks for that, looks like the one I have is the same, but could be older.
Do you have your model number and your father's one too?
I shall look them.up and find the latest android version.
Cheers
HI Guys,
I have a Eonon D5167 system which came fitted along with the original system in my 2005 120 55 plate. I am guessing its a ebay job as I started to look at the specs and get some ideas since now its starting to get error messages on the sat nav (yesterday - like it crashes) and the CD...
Right guys,
Apologies for the delay, but the seal has been done and new Hyp 90 has been added. Driven around a couple of 100 miles since and all is well.
Is there anyway to check the grease in the prop, they said they did it, but how do you check?
Cheers Rob,
I found a local garage which will do it on the ramp as I dont have the tools for the job. I have bought the seal, nut and the 2L Titan Gear Hyp 90 (GL5 80W-90) as discussed.
Hope to have it in this Friday. Will update asap.
Hi Guys,
update again and apologies for posting for a while, just been a littlew busy, but to update...
Everything that was listed above has been done from timing belt to full service and all fluids!
Only thing outstanding is this Transfer Case/Box...
