I used more than 5 versions from 11.... To 15..... And all had the same problem (of course due to BIOS)
In the drop down menu i was missing some options and techstream couldn't identify the car while starting. Now it does just while starting and automatically connecting...

I installed win 7 and even if it is 64bit i managed to install the cable too.
I am suspecting that it was the BIOS configuration that was creating the problem.
I am using an old PC (Lenovo x201i) but not so old to get win xp and support it 100%

My car had the old ones that should be changed during the recall that Toyota issued 10+ years back but the previous owner didn't.
When i bought it, i changed them since they were far out of the specs and the danger of breaking the pistons was high.
I changed the olds with new ones from denso...
The main purpose was to see real time the readings from the engine via a hand tool. (My android mobile)
Denso Intelligent Tester 2 is an expensive tool for professionals so not for me.....

I agree that i stand low chances to find a solution so I have abandoned the case...
Also to highlight that i have changed the injectors and they also updated my ECU software to support them.
Even with a new software the OBD is not getting connected
