really sorry for the late reply...
No. the vibration is not solved. I learnt to leave with that since it is not affecting the operation of the engine nor the car's...
Answering your questions.
I used more than 5 versions from 11.... To 15..... And all had the same problem (of course due to BIOS)
In the drop down menu i was missing some options and techstream couldn't identify the car while starting. Now it does just while starting and automatically connecting...
Fixed it!
Thanks for your support!
I installed win 7 and even if it is 64bit i managed to install the cable too.
I am suspecting that it was the BIOS configuration that was creating the problem.
I am using an old PC (Lenovo x201i) but not so old to get win xp and support it 100%
I had to modify...
No. Just the 2UZFE related to land cruiser.
Of course several other Toyota models are also existing
Do you also have win xp or any newer?
Iam thinking to try win 7
Thanks again Karl2000 for sharing your version!
The weird thing is that your version too is appearing to have the same problem to me... Its obvious that something else is wrong...
Very weird. I see no other LC but the 2UZ-FE. See the pic attached.
I am using the classic mini VCI J2534 cable...
Thanks for answering!
The only option that it gives me related to LC or Prado is landcruiser 2UZ.
do you have (kdj120L) 1KDFTV like me?
if yes and it is working, can you please share it using a sharepoint site like dropbox?
I would really appreciate!!
Hi all
i have downloaded many cracked versions that I found on the web from 13xxx to 15xxx and they all work fine to an old PC with win XP that I have.
My problem is that none of the downloaded versions have my prado (kdj120L) 1KDFTV
Is there someone who can share such link?
If it's not a big...

My car had the old ones that should be changed during the recall that Toyota issued 10+ years back but the previous owner didn't.
When i bought it, i changed them since they were far out of the specs and the danger of breaking the pistons was high.
I changed the olds with new ones from denso...
The main purpose was to see real time the readings from the engine via a hand tool. (My android mobile)
Denso Intelligent Tester 2 is an expensive tool for professionals so not for me.....
Thanks anyway
I agree that i stand low chances to find a solution so I have abandoned the case...
Also to highlight that i have changed the injectors and they also updated my ECU software to support them.
Even with a new software the OBD is not getting connected
The OBD2 that I have works perfectly to another LC120 that a friend of mine has.
This LC is the one before the facelift.
Mine is the one after the facelift.
I think I have the problem described above
Hi all
I also face the same issue with my LC120
Mine has it's first registration at 2005 and the model type is KDJ120L-GKFEYW
I have also tried more than 5 OBD2 and none works.
Any new ideas?
this is a clever solution (the one with the magnet) if applicable.
unfortunately the technicians did not check the valve clearance when they changed the injectors...
Yes, they coded the new injectors and they upgraded the software too since they installed the newest improved injector version as...
Thank you all for the proposals - answers.
@TONYCY11 : Can you please tell me send me the instruction to reach and check the valves? I only have the valve spacing specifications but not the "to Do" instructions to get there. I don't have experience on diesel and even if it seems very similar to...
Hi to everyone,
Unfortunately I changed the engine mounts but the vibration is still there…
I am thinking of checking the valve spacing. Does anybody have the technical manual to see what I have to do exactly? I have seen that for the petrol engine, the adjustment is made by checking the valve...
Thanks for the post!
What you are describing is most probably ditry injectors.
This is not my case since I have already chnaged them just 30000 km ago.
Anyway I also used one botlle of injector cleaner just to convince myself that i tried this too without any change...
What you are describing is different than what I do. Yours issue is stopping on neutral and mine is appearing on neutral.
Apart from the fact that your is auto transmition and mine is manual.
Yes I could remove them but I cannot test them.
so it is useless to do it unless I have a set of new injectors to test them... And lets say that I have one set (quite expensive to consider that I will buy them) I need to have the software to "introduce" them to the CPU of the car. If I dont, the...
The rattling is present when I press the engine regardless of the rpm.
I am suspecting that some of the problems that might occur on injectors cannot be detected by the simple pc connection.
The problem is that any dismounting of the injectors in order to be checked on the testing machine and...
It could be the engine or gearbox mount.
As said before this is the most probable cause.
What worries me is the strange sound of the engine (not occurring all times) on load or while using it for braking (I have manual transmission)
As said above the engine's noise is like one cylinder is...
Dear all,
I have the below issue and nobody in Greece (Toyota or non Toyota Dealer) can tackle it since diesel engines are not used so much and for that reason, there is no really experienced technicians to identify the problem.
When I bought the car (LC120 with diesel 3 litters engine 1KD...
I need to say a great thanks to Simon for sharing the service manual with me! I am downloading it right now...
Hey Simon, in case you decide to come to Greece for vacations or any other reason, I will be more than happy to help you with any point that you might need such as recomendations or any...
Dear all,
It is more than 1 month now that I can see again the service manual sheets...
I am wondering why there is not a single upload in the 120 series sub - category...
I suppose that the main reason of each forum is to share information and help each other.
Is there anyone who have these...
The g001 is very famous to any offroader at least in Greece and in Mediterranean countries (if I am not mistaken)...
https://youtu.be/0IvaCoXQDQU
I suppose that you have seen this tire at least as a copy.
My LC is the 120 series D4D
I know many but in Athens. There must be some in Crete but I don't know them.
Have in mind that in Greece there are no junkyards where you can go and dissemble the piece that you need from a scrapped car. There are only shops with used on new spare parts.
You can always ask a local garage shop...
Hey Steve,
If you are still in Greece and you need any help or advice you can contact me.
I suppose you have seen that everything is okay in Greece without any problems or anarchy of any kind...
Don't believe 100% of the media. Please filter the information you get.
I have various...
Andros island belongs to Cyclades islands complex (the same complex that Mykonos and Santorini belongs)
Cyprus is far away from Andros (aproximately 1.5 hours by airplane and 1.5 days by ferry)
But islands are for swimming and not offroading...
If you are interested on offroading, Greece is...
I have been using the BF Goodrich M/T and I could say that I am quite satisfied. I have no experience on Cooper tyres.
In the past, I use to have a copy of Yokohama Geolandar G001 M/T (Regrooved tires) and the grip was amazing in all conditions (Mud or Snow)! Far better from the BF ones.
This is...
Hi to all!
I am about to change my off-road tires and I am focused on Yokohama Geolandar G001 265/70/17 since I believe that they are one of the best choices
The point is that in Greece this exact tire was always in very limited stock (or even in no stock) so it is very difficult to find.
Is...

Hi there!
I have just received my activation link so from now on, I can also write (except reading!):icon-cool:
I have a LC120 D4D 2005 and I am using it mainly for offroading.
Since the Greek Forum has a lot less members, I hope that through this forum, I will be able to exchange more ideas!
