I think the best cars for driving and safety were made from 1990 to 2010. Retrictions were easy to remove and driving pleasure and ownership were the best ever re reliability and durability. The Land Cruisers of that era are great examples of this. The 70,80,90,100,120 and 150 are all cracking...

I'm thinking about buying an old cheap 120 for supplying parts for my 120. Maybe it's a cheaper and convenient option because a lot or original spares for my 120 aren't available anymore and for example a new sun visor from Toyota is over £200... Did anyone on here buy a cheap clone for spares...

I like to build a relationship with a local one-man band who gets to know your car and can do any necessary job properly. It's also a more enjoyable experience. They also spend time with you so you understand what needs to be done and when.

Would be nice to use a jack to jack lead from my smartphone to my sound system in my 120. Is it an easy job for an auto electrician to fit a jack plug on the dash to feed into the cars sound system? Cheers

Thanks for that mate. I bought my 2006 120 in 2008 with 11,000 miles on the clock. It's never missed a beat but it's always sounded like that. I wonder why it's so noisy?

It could've been the wind mate,it's a priivate road so I doubt it got bumped but you never know. It's got so many scars I wouldn't know unless someone took a sledgehammer to it..

My interior sensor is unplugged so nothing inside can set it off. I think it's either heavy traffic coming by or a Taxi radio? My 120's never been bumped...

My alarm on the 120 just went off while parked on the street outside my house! Are there any other alarm sensors that could've set my alarm off? Could a Taxi CB radio set it off?

150's are nice and quiet mate,120's turbos are noisy,pisses me off...

I've just bought some KYB's for my 120,half the price of OEM. Not soft or firm,just nicely in the middle,quality dampening...

My 120 has the annoying turbo whistle,when I test drove a 150 a few years ago I didn't hear any whistle. What's the difference between the turbos on the 120 and 150 series? Cheers
