Nice work Mike.
Years ago when building engines for the running surfaces crank/cam bearings and so forth I uses to coat them with Graphogen during assembly (I think that is spelt right?), I also used to paint the inside of the block with red floor paint, it would smooth the inner surfaces so under race conditions the oil would not only return to the sump quicker but also pick up less heat, The outside I gave up with the yellow block and red cylinder heads and copied an engine building company that is still in Gants Hill, the engine builder at the time IIRC was a guy called 'Eddie', he chose the bright Green Hammerite for block and heads, for some reason it just looked so right on an engine and made leaks easier to find.
For engineering work I used to use a company called Gosnays on the Eastern Avenue, I don't know if they are still there but, you name it and they had it when it came equipment, and they never let me down.
Regards
Dave
