Hi folks,

After 6 years , I've decided to sell my 76 series for a troopy.

It's a RHD petrol with the V6 1GR-FE engine. Sourced and imported from Japan to the UK in 2018 with the help of an agent with 4700 miles on the clock. Now approaching 49k.
It's gets serviced every 6 months and have all receipts available.

Condition is pretty much mint for a 9 year old vehicle and has been well loved over the years. Still is, going to be sore to see it go but the troopy will work better overall for camping needs etc

Just had an MOT, unfortunately I had a buyer pull out at the last minute.

Its currently listed on eBay as per the link below which has all the pictures and details.

Hi Mike, where do you intend to get your troopy from? I ask as I am after a Troopy (RHD) too, but import from Australia seems only route.....

Hi Sean,

I've actually already bought it from Travis at RHAS, brand new very last of the V8s unfortunately. Just waiting on registration before I can bring it home.

We tried the Australian route but they need to be 10 years old plus to register here and they are extremely expensive unless they have high mileage.

Travis had a sandy taupe with grey interior ordered so I grabbed the opportunity. I believe he has a white one coming as well.

Thanks for that, I am aware of RHAS, but have a preference for a RHD (used to live in Adelaide, should have bought one over!).

I did as well but gave up trying to find the unicorn Lhd will be fine for trips to Europe and was ok when I had a test drive.

I'm also searching for a LC78 . I live in Greece. I found the GRJ78 with the 1grfe engine in Europe ( Italy/France/Netherlands/Switzerland/Germany). But in order to bring it here i have to pay almost an addition of half the price of the vehicle for first registration taxes etc. I was thinking maybe going in Netherlands for example working there 2 years and buy there the car and then return back (change residency again) and bring with me the car.
I would prefer the 1HZ engine but i dont know if they are making any Diesel 4.2 until now (except maybe Dubai? and Africa?)
Any thoughts?

I believe the HZJ78 is still available new, Toyota Gibraltar stockholdings still have it listed but I'm not sure which market they are / were available from.

Morning folks,

Still for sale and dropped the price to £36k for everything or around £33k without the tent.

Its a strange one, its pretty rare over here in the UK, i get plenty of watchers and views in ebay and the car always attracts folk at the local car gatherings ( Bacon & Brakes) , but no real takers lol
