My 1996 90 Prado RX with 1KZTE, after warmed up periodically displays the 2nd STR function on it's own. Sometimes the indicator doesn't display. Pushing the button doesn't help. Have to manually start off in 1st at stops. This does not happen when the engine is cold. Have the same issue with the OD indicator displaying except it flashes intermittently.
Could these issues be something in the shift column or something worse?
