70 Series diagnostic port?

G'Day!

I'm just starting out in the world of Land Cruisers having moved down here from Staffordshire last year.

Back in not-so-sunny England, I had various VW group cars that had a diagnostic port into which I could connect a laptop to read fault codes etc.

Does a 70 Series land cruiser have a similar facility? I've not been able to find one if it does.

How old is the 70 series?

The newer 70's have ECU's and will have a diagnostic port, but the older ones wont.

Where about in OZ are you?
