70 series headlights

discovered they are as useful as a chocolate firegaurd this evening

are the bulbs a standard H4 fitting ... or are there any other ways i can actually get some light out of them

Mine are the round headlights but had the same problem, i found taking them apart, cleaning and changing the bulbs to newer xenon types made a fair difference, but adding some spots did even better

how about upgrading them to HID's?

that would make a huge difference.

That's a good price, I mine cost about £150, inc fitting but I think they were worth every penny, with my HID spots on as well night time has been banished

OEM headlight is too bad, for me.

I keep meaning to take a trip to Rough Trax and see if these will fit my KZJ70.

i have 1995's kzj79. but i don't know headlight's model name or any number.
so, is that headlight compatible for my ride?

I dont know if they will fit the square headlight 70 series yet, Im only guessing at the minute as they look very similar and it would make sense that Toyota used the same units on both models. I havent had a chance to get to Rough Trax yet to have a proper look.
