80 series rear caliper part

Hey guys, just wondered if anyone knows what this part I’ve highlighted of the caliper is called.
Rebuilding my rear calipers and this part on mine has rusted away.

You don't actually need it if you just want back on the road .

Must be some kind of dirt shield I’m guessing.
 
If it's that crusty it's worth changing. Roughtrax do decent aftermarket callipers for the 80. My truck stops pretty well now...
 
I fitted two German Febest brand rear calipers a while back as the originals where pretty bad and I was impressed with the quality at around half the cost of OEM's.

Maybe it’s not worth rebuilding them and just going for a pair of decent new ones.
 
I have one to go back on one of my calipers but turns out I'll need to drill out the tiny screws that hold the dust shield in; hence havn't got around to it
