80 Series Stereo install in centre air vents. Is it possible?

I've been keen for a while to have a sat nav system installed higher up and more in the line of sight in my 80.

I currently mainly use my phone for maps etc which is bit of a PITA having to set up every single time.

I've been wondering if installing a single DIN radio with slide out screen could be installed into this air vent.

Has anyone ever contemplated this or seen it done? Is it even possible?
