ANY body have one kicking around. Just got another Colorado in for Ukraine ambulance conversion and appears 1st gear syncro is badly worn kicking it out quite violently. Bit pissed as there is very little profit in it but cant send it as it is as lives will be dependent on it. Any ideas or suggestions welcome

Gav if your the one doing the driving lives ARE at risk

Are there not any compatible gears in any 80 or 100 boxes

Have to ask Gav whats the trucks life expectancy over there ?

Just put a note on the dash no first gear because it will pull away no bother in second gear anyway and having a low box must be a godsend in a war zone .

Some just a few days Shayne others can last a number of weeks. It's all down to luck really. The box is coming out today and having the repair done. I supply several to the guys driving them out loaded with medical supplies and its more for my peace of mind knowing its right mechanically. I have a good rapore with the charity and don't want to lose that. Couple of pictures of another I supplied.

Fair play to you . To be honest I wish i could offer myself up to drive them out there or something but I'm struggling to make ends meet at the moment so getting my own house in order takes priority .

Gav you should have a look at trucks here in Ireland.. most are already converted to commercial from new so have the rear loadspace clear. Plenty of cheap ones about with the usual age related stuff, but reliable enough to do that job. Do they need to be UK road registered?

That's a good shout Bob. I'd imagine the registration shouldn't be an issue but I'll ask.

If I can be of any help over this side let me know
