One of the LR aftermarket upholstery companies (Devon?) does a seat that folds up onto the wheel arch and they are forward facing. Whether the dimensions are right I don't know.
If you're going to use the 40 regularly in our climate look at the front mounting for the rear seat (in wheel arch). It's held on by 4 spot welds but they do not extent to the side of the body (they hold the captive nut) Cut them and remove the excess on the wing side of the welds as they trap muck and rot out the wing. It's only about 2 inches that needs to be removed and then seal the end.
