I haven't seen any advice on this topic on this site and I find myself in this predicament.
I have the 100 series with 5 nut configuration with a three pin type locking nut, I plan on grinding a few flat sides on the locking nut and then using a socket to get the nut off.
Does anyone have a better proven method?

go to Halfrauds and get a removal tool or do it hill biily style and bray a smaller multipoint pocket on

Thanks I might try the nut extractor tool first, there are a couple of happy reviewers with 4X4s on their website, tool is listed at £16.

Can you weld a nut on top of the damaged one?

Alas I have no welder but as a last resort I know someone near who does.

The nut removal tool did not work, the diameter of the remaining stud once the spinning outer guard is removed is smaller than the gripping area of the tool rendering it useless for removing stock 100 series locking wheel nuts. I contacted my local tyre fitters and they removed all 4 locking nuts with an impact chisel...very effectively, cost me £20 ....I'm very happy.
