Check engine light

Hello,

I have a 1997 Land Cruiser that the check engine light came on yesterday. I went to Auto Zone and they hooked up to the computer and it stated troubleshooting code P0171. Do any of you have an idea what this could be?

According to Google it's 'System too lean'

And could be caused by a number of factors including MAF etc. Did you remove a vacuum pipe somewhere perhaps?

I can't find a vacuum problem, but do see that air intake hose has a crack. Could that be the cause?

Yes from what I've since read it could contribute to the issue.
