It's been our turn to have the class mascot from lily's class.
Introducing hugly, onwards known as fugly in our house.
Well fugly likes to go on adventures and has his very own book documenting his exploits, now when he's older this means embarrassing photos and everything!
He's a fairly laid back chap
We took him shopping sat and as I need little encouragement to go laning we headed out today, no one else in lily's class has a vehicle for it and the kids love the 80.
He might be laid back but soon jumped in my seat to drive some lanes...
Soon kicked him into the back where he belongs
He started to get cheeky and sat on the bloody bonnet! Starting to dislike fugly now, threatened to cable tie him to the bar and he chilled out
We drove a few lanes and showed fugly what gods country looks like, we dipped our toes into cleaveland at one point but luckily there was disinfectant on the way back in.
We stopped for some lunch, now somebody forgot to call forward and book a table at our fave pub in Egton! I blame fugly.
We popped down the road to another pub at Egton bridge to tuck into Sunday lunch.
The postgate Inn is another recommended pub for the weary traveller, even fugly enjoyed a bit of lily's lunch.
More friendly service and great food,
See fugly Yorkshire is great.
While we were passing we stopped for a quick pic at the sailing club too, the place was deserted
We even went to see the old trains in Grosmont
After a couple more short lanes we decided to head home, at this point I think the gods of Yorkshire got a little sad and tried to keep us in this beautiful part of the county
In true moors fashion the fog rolled in very quickly and I would've preferred to be on the lanes when it did, no other traffic to nearly drive into you!
All in I think little fugly has had a good weekend with us but the twoc incident and sitting on my bonnet has tarnished my view of him!!
Back to school he goes in the morning and onto more adventures.
